Drie soorten
Je hebt Golden Syrup, Treacle en Black Treacle. Foto 1 tot en met 3 respectievelijk. Prachtig potje, die Golden syrup hierboven! Schitterend! Foto van het web want het is super glanzend metallic.
En de gewone treacle dat is dus hetzelfde als keukenstroop.

Dit gaat sterk richting Ginger Bread, kruidkoek.
En aldus verder denkend kreeg ik het plan om taaitaai te gaan maken met Black treacle.

En verder
Hierboven gerstemout-stroop. Erg lekker op brood. Gezonde winkel.
Hieronder Zoute stroop. Totaal ongezuiverde rietsuikerstroop. Smaakt wat zout, verdomd.
Ik heb verder nog cranberry stroop, blauwe bessenstroop, bosbessenstroop (drie maal Aldi aanbiedingen), speltstroop, ahornstroop, kakistroop, vlierstroop (vier keer gezonde winkel), dadelstroop, druivenstroop en vijgenstroop (de laatste drie bij de betere Turk).
Allemaal lekker (ik heb heel wat meer gehad, maar ik hou alleen wat echt lekker is). Die kakistroop is de lekkerste, jammer genoeg wel uiterst dun.
En dan hebben we natuurlijk nog de appelstroop. Meestal suikerbietenzooi, maar Maestrichter stroop (appel, peer, druiven) is heelijk, net als Luikse stroop oftewel Poepgelei (appel, peer en dadels).
